Cheng Lee and family have been vendors at the Shawano Farmers Market for six years. They are well-known for their amazing vegetables and flowers they grow in Weston and Ringle, Wisconsin. The Lee’s grow and sell over 20 different vegetables at four farmer’s markets. They take pride in displaying and selling beautiful and delicious vegetables. The day before the market they start cleaning and washing vegetables at 4:00 a.m. and finish at 1:00 a.m. the next morning. They catch a few hours of sleep and then head to Shawano to set up their stand. In addition to veggies, they also sell stunning bouquets of flowers.
Chella Soap products are cold process made with organic vegetable oils, essential oils, local additives (beer, goats milk) and natural colorants.
Soap sold at the farmers market is freshly cut on site as you order. We also carry a line of handmade lotions, body sprays, scrubs, and balms. The Chella Soap Co soapmakers are two local Shawano moms, inspired by our love of homesteading. Our products can also be found locally at the Market, Staff of Life, and on Facebook.

It is definitely an art to make the bouquets; Cheng’s daughter Lou is being trained by her mother to create the bouquets. The Lee’s like being a vendor at the Shawano Farmers Market, according to Lou, “It’s more than the profits, we like the people and the fun atmosphere.”
When October comes around and the markets are done for the year, the Lee’s are already planning for next year’s market.
The Chella Soap Company has been part of the Shawano Farmers Market since the beginning in 2008. It was born from a love of creating natural products from fresh, whole ingredients.

Johnson Family Cattle began in 2006 when Brad & Lindsay purchased bare farm ground in Shawano, WI and set out to raise a family and the finest Angus and Red Angus cattle. The farm, located in the township of Richmond near Red River, has grown to include 45 mother cows and the family has grown to include Isaac (8) and Charlotte (5). Brad and Lindsay grew up in the beef cattle industry and knew that was how they wanted to raise their family. Johnson Family Cattle is a family-run operation where no outside labor is hired. While Isaac and Charlotte may be young, they play an active role in the farm’s day-to-day activities. They are learning at an early age where their food comes, the importance of caring for animals and becoming excellent advocates for agriculture.
